Shop Helper / Machine Operator

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $20.00 an hour

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper / Machine Operator to support daily production operations. This is a hands-on role that involves assisting throughout the shop floor, operating production equipment, and preparing finished products for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to work in various areas of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Float between production areas and provide support as needed
• Load and unload parts onto machines
• Perform tumbling operations on manufactured parts
• Count, inspect, and package finished products
• Bag and prepare parts for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Assist with other general shop duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting and packaging parts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
